I got an email about Chinese grown Kiwi Fruit and how they are soaking each fruit in poison as they grow quicker and bigger.

After a check apparently it's true http://www.cncworld.tv/news/v_show/1555 ... cern.shtml so don't buy Kiwi Fruit from China.

Now why am I not surprised? I actually read this article the other day but as I am always passing on these type of items I decided I would let it be this time and give someone else a go.

I buy very little in the way of produce these days and have become very good at label reading. I read all the labels to see if what ever - is both Australian produced and made. No imports at all from Asia. Even imports from other areas of the world are somewhat curtailed in my effort to be an "Australia Only" shopper. Very difficult it is too as many Australian produced items are found to contain the use of imported additives/produce I should say.
