Today we woke to new twins, our Bea had twin boys. Looks they were born a couple of hours ago as they are clean.
DH said - oh well another 2 for the freezer so that makes 4 boys and 1 girl.
Haven't taken any photos as it is sprinkling at the moment. Maybe later.

Moved mum and babies this afternoon from the front paddock out to the back one, it is further away from the bush and more open ground for predators to have to crosss. Also the back paddocks have shelter sheds so better protection from the elements for mum and babies.
It has been a nice day today, showers on and off, temp of 17/18C with sunny periods. Not much wind on the whole at the moment either.

Congratulations! Lovely to have twins hey?
On another note, one of my silkies was absolutely insisting on setting. After removing eggs 3 times a day and continually moving her off I gave in and set her with 3 eggs. Which haven't hatched. Silly chook wanting to go broody at the beginning of winter!

Congratulation Kathleen,
It's funny how with sheep we want twins and with cattle we don't. We had Twin Bull who was a twin so passed on his twin gene which we don't want to double up on... we don't want twins.
Great that it was two boys, are they rams when little?
Are you going to keep the female?

Yes we are going to keep the female, her name is Maggie Mae and she is "sooo cute" as DD often says. She is a screamer though and at almost 6 months old will still stand out in the paddock and bawl for what she wants.

We call them 'talkactive' Fairy Floss is the same, never stops... I think Fatima must have a headache from her.
She has the same middle name as me, and spelt the same.
