I was reading the link below regarding the use of fungicide in orange juice and wondered if we have a similar problem here?
We seem to follow so much along the lines of what they do oversees that I wouldn't be surprised to find that even more of our foods thought to be safe were in fact not so safe after all.
These days I seldom buy fruit of vege instead eating only what I grow myself in season. A cool room is high on my list for this reason.
